Student Leadership Team
The W2W Student Leadership Team is comprised of young people ages 14-21, who have chosen to pursue healthy relationships, including waiting until marriage to have sex, and who want to be a positive influence in their community.
The team meets once a week to create social media content for W2W Healthy You™. Twice a semester, this team presents in schools throughout West Michigan promoting the pursuit of healthy relationships and sexual risk avoidance.
Serving on the W2W Student Leadership Team offers experience in several skill sets, such as: content development (film and graphic design), acting, public speaking, and leadership. By serving on the team, students gain volunteer hours, scholarship opportunities, and experience for college applications and resumes.
Special Projects Team
The W2W Special Projects Team is a group of students and young adults (ages 14-21) who wish to assist the W2W Healthy You™ Sexual Risk Avoidance program in supporting the pursuit of healthy relationships among students in our community, but who cannot commit to weekly meetings.
Members of the Special Projects Team are called on periodically to help with service projects, such as preparing teaching materials, and to aid in the creation of content for our social media.
